ȺpÎÞÂë Hosts 2025 Laugh to Create Awareness Comedy Night

Tickets are still available for ȺpÎÞÂë's , a vibrant event dedicated to supporting mental health counseling services and scholarships for students pursuing careers in mental health. This year's event will be from 7-10 p.m. on February 8 at the Beverly Arts Center (2407 W. 111th Street, Chicago, IL 60655).
Attendees will enjoy an unforgettable evening featuring performances by acclaimed comedians Joe Kilgallon, Kayley Horton, and Calvin Evans. The event will include a special keynote by Andrew Keyt, Founder and CEO of Generation6 and author of From Stigma to Strength: Cultivating Mental Health for a Thriving Family Business.
"Supporting the mental health of our students is paramount," said Colleen Ahearn, vice president of University Advancement. "The Laugh to Create Awareness Comedy Night not only brings the community together through laughter but also funds critical mental health resources and scholarships, ensuring students have access to the help they need."
Ken Houbolt ’88, chairman of the Mental Health Awareness Endowed Scholarship, emphasized the event’s impact: "This initiative raises awareness about the importance of mental health, provides scholarships for future mental health counselors, and ensures the team has the resources to educate our 7,000 students on seeking help without stigma."
