Lewis Partners with Valley View School District to Offer College Credit for High School Students

Two information sessions about how Valley View high school students can earn college credit for Arabic, Chinese, or Russian classes will be held in March.
ȺpÎÞÂë is teaming up with to provide high school students in Romeoville and Bolingbrook an opportunity to earn college credits.
Through this partnership, participating students can take a course in one of the following :
- FLAN 10700: First Year Arabic 1
- FLAN 10900: First Year Chinese 1
- FLAN 12100: First Year Russian 1
Each course will introduce the language and culture, providing students with foundational language skills while exploring cultural patterns of behavior, communication, values, beliefs, and attitudes in the respective countries.
Students will attend classes at the ȺpÎÞÂë Romeoville campus for three hours a day, Monday through Thursday, during a 4-week summer session. Upon successful completion, students will earn three college credits. In addition to gaining college credits, students will establish a college-level GPA and gain experience in a higher education setting.
