Biodiesel Processing Project Proposal Wins 2021 Come Clean Go Green Competition

“Food to Fuel: Biodiesel Processing for Campus and Community Use” project idea by students Kristen Knych ’21, Sol llanes ’23, Sebastian Mietus ’21, and Caitlin Shanahan ’21 won the 2021 Come Clean Go Green Competition.

A record number of sustainability projects were submitted to the Sustainability Council competition, funded for the first time by the recently adopted Sustainability Fee on student accounts. All participants are encouraged to resubmit their projects for students to vote on during next year’s competition.

ȺpÎÞÂë prioritizes sustainability as a core foundational principle within its Lasallian mission and the Come Clean Go Green competition exemplifies its commitment to serving as a leader in sustainable practices that will be impactful to the community.
