White and Muench Prepare for Fall of Poetry

ȺpÎÞÂë English Professors Prepare for Fall of Poetry

Professor Emerita Dr. Jackie K. White and Dr. Simone Muench, professor of English and director of Creative & Professional Writing, have a busy fall ahead. 

At 10:00 a.m. on September 8 at the the poetic duo will be presenting their work. 

At 4 p.m. on September 19, White and Muench will be hosting a book release party in the Wadsworth Family Art Gallery on the Lewis University Romeoville campus. 

Their full-length collaborative poetry collection, ,” was published in June by Black Lawrence Press. This book explores a multitude of voices and forms, creating a rich tapestry of language and emotion. 

The Under Hum has already garnered critical praise. A recent by Charles Rammelkamp describes the collection as "an exquisite collaboration…incorporating voices from the whole universe of poetry… You want to stand up and applaud!"
