CoESS Faculty Share Expertise on Criminal Justice, Healthcare, Psychotherapy and Gun Violence

ȺpÎÞÂë College of Education and Social Sciences faculty recently shared their expertise with publications, presentations, interviews and podcasts.  

 

Professor Huma Zia, associate professor and program director of paralegal studies, and Dr. Morris Jenkins, associate professor of justice, law and public safety studies, recently published an article in , a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study of criminal justice policy. 

 

The article,, discusses how the dimensions of organizational justice relate to the emotional exhaustion burnout of Nigerian prison officers. 

 

Psychology Professor and Graduate Program Director Dr. Katherine Helm shared her knowledge in her presentation, “Microaggressions in Healthcare,” at Silver Cross Hospital.  

 

Helm also served as the expert interviewer for the , where she interviewed Dr. Geoff Goodman.   

 

Dr. Hannah Klein, assistant professor of justice, law and public safety studies, was a podcast guest for the , where she serves as an affiliate scholar.
