JJC 3+1 Criminal Justice Degree Program
Joliet Junior College (JJC) students can now earn their associate's degree from JJC and their Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from ȺpÎÞÂë in just four years.
Degree Format
This 128 credit hour program includes 92 credit hours of JJC coursework and 36 credit hours of ȺpÎÞÂë coursework. Upon completion of the program, you will receive your associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Joliet Junior College (JJC)  and your Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from ȺpÎÞÂë.
Curriculum Pathway
The student completes 68 hours of coursework at JJC to fulfill the requirements for the AA in Criminal Justice or the Law Enforcement AAS at JJC.
Upon completion, the student blends 24 credit hours of additional JJC courses with 27 hours of Lewis Criminal Justice coursework and 9 hours of Lewis Mission courses with Lewis faculty.
Discounted Tuition
The 92 credit hours of JJC coursework will be completed at JJC tuition rates. The final 36 hours will be paid through ȺpÎÞÂë, at a significantly reduced tuition rate.
Who can enroll in the program?
- Students who have completed an Associate in Arts degree in Criminal Justice at JJC.
- Students who have completed an Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice at JJC and take the necessary additional general education coursework to earn an Associates of Arts or Science.
- New students to JJC who indicate their intent to enter the 3+1 program.
- Students can apply for admission to Lewis when they are six months away from completing their associate degree.
