COLLEGE OF DUPAGE 2+2 PROGRAM IN SOCIAL WORK
College of DuPage students can seamlessly transfer to ȺpÎÞÂë after earning their associate’s degree. Students will earn the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services at COD and then transfer to Lewis to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with the option to complete the MSW in one additional year. Lewis BA and MSW programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Accreditation (CSWE).
Students at COD may transfer up to 65 credit hours. Students will then transfer to Lewis University to complete their remaining two years, 63 credit hours at the Romeoville campus. If a student would like to earn their MSW, they can do so in one additional year.
Tuition
COD courses are taught at COD tuition rates, while the remaining Lewis courses are completed and paid based on ȺpÎÞÂë tuition rates.
WHO CAN ENROLL?
- Students who are enrolled in or have completed the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services as outlined in the COD/ȺpÎÞÂë 2+2 agreement.
- Students completing the Associate of Applied Science degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 (on a 4.0 scale).
- New students to COD who indicate their intent to enter the partnership program with ȺpÎÞÂë. Students can apply for dual enrollment to COD and Lewis.
