ȺpÎÞÂë | Student Academic Conference Support Program

ȺpÎÞÂë

Home

In January 2014, in response to numerous requests by faculty, Stephany Schlachter announced inauguration of the ȺpÎÞÂë Student Academic Conference Support Program as a pilot program. Given its successful launch, the Provost is pleased to announce the continuation of this program, which promotes undergraduate and graduate student research by funding travel for presentations at juried disciplinary/research conferences. ȺpÎÞÂë faculty scholarship and research is advancing in multiple disciplines. Faculty are also engaging students in this critical work to advance learning. This program will help students to share their accomplishments.

On this site, you will find an overview of the ȺpÎÞÂë Student Academic Conference Support Program along with student application materials; a list of documentation needed; the acknowledgement of personal responsibility and waiver of liability; and budget forms. Students who are admitted to and in good standing in an undergraduate or graduate academic program at ȺpÎÞÂë are eligible to apply for funding to support. The Internal Grants Committee will be vetting the applications. The rubric used by the Committee to evaluate applications is also available on this site.

Applications will be reviewed throughout the academic year, as they are received. All applications with the supporting documentation are to be e-mailed or delivered to:
