Password Management

Managing your password is simple using OKTA self-service:

Password Requirements

When resetting your password, the new password must meet the University’s security requirements for complexity:

  • Must be at least 8 characters in length.
  • Must contain at least one Upper Case Letter.
  • Must contain at least one Lower Case Letter.
  • Must contain at least one Number.
  • Must contain at least one Special Character.
  • Cannot contain part of your Lewis username, first name, or last name.
  • Do not use previous passwords.

PASSWORD LIFE EXPECTANCY

  • Your password is good for 180 days from the date it was set.
  • You should receive notification to your Lewis Email when your password is due to expire.
  • Expired password can be reset at LewisU.Okta.com
