Office of Mission & Identity

The Office of Mission & Identity is responsible for programs and activities that engage, celebrate, and support the University community’s development in and understanding of our Mission, Catholic identity, and Lasallian heritage. The Office is responsible for, among other things, faculty, staff and student Mission orientation, Mission-based programming, recognition, and assessment, faculty/staff development for Mission (formation), and Mission-based hiring. The Office also serves as a resource for those wishing to better understand and explore the heritage and identity of Lewis University.

The Office collaborates with faculty and staff to advance the Mission of the University in the spirit of Association through a variety of structures, including the Mission and Heritage Council, the Center for Ministry and Spirituality, the Lasallian Vocation Council, University Ministry, the Department of Theology, and others.
